Production standard - down-the-lens interviews

For the interviews, the VoxBox Air has been selected as the standardised down-the-lens interview system for this production.

Using a single system across all camera operators ensures:

Consistent eyeline geometry
Matched framing style
Quick switching from ‘down-the-lens’ to ‘teleprompter’ mode
Greater continuity in post-production

Standardisation removes avoidable variation between crews and protects the editorial integrity of the series.

Production resilience package included

This is a special bundle exclusively for WING freelancers. Each unit ordered via this page includes:

Spare beamsplitter glass worth GBP £128 / USD $161 / EUR €146
Set of 15mm rails at various lengths worth GBP £45 / USD $60 / EUR €51

The beamsplitter is the most critical component in any mirror-based setup. If damaged, replacement can take several days – even with domestic support. Including a spare ensures no interruption to filming and eliminates a key production risk.

Allocation and delivery

Stock is being reserved from the upcoming production batch.
Dispatch: April/May
Guaranteed to arrive before 15 May 2026.

Orders must be placed by 31 March 2026 to secure allocation from this batch and inclusion of the production support package.

Once the deadline is reached, additional units cannot be guaranteed within the required timeframe.
