PrimeLight Design launches the ZP15 – a professional all-in-one teleprompter built for modern production workflows

Leeds, UK – PrimeLight Design has announced the launch of the ZeePrompt ZP15, a new professional folding teleprompter designed for broadcasters, production companies, camera operators, presenters, and content creators working across studio and location environments.

The ZP15 builds on the success of the popular ZeePrompt ZP12, introducing a larger integrated display, modern USB-C connectivity, and enhanced portability while maintaining the company’s signature one-piece folding design.

Designed to simplify prompting workflows and reduce setup time on set, the ZP15 combines a built-in 13.3-inch HD IPS monitor with a 15-inch beamsplitter glass and integrated monitor enclosure, creating a compact all-in-one solution for professional productions.

“The ZP15 was developed to solve the practical issues crews face every day with traditional teleprompters,” said Steve Lord, founder of PrimeLight Design. “We wanted something faster to deploy, easier to transport, and better suited to modern USB-C connectivity without compromising professional usability.”

Designed for fast-moving productions

Unlike conventional teleprompters that require multiple loose parts and separate monitor setups, the ZP15 features a true one-piece folding design with no loose components or tools required during assembly.

The beamsplitter glass remains protected inside the unit during transport and setup, helping prevent accidental damage, fingerprints, and incorrect glass installation between shoots. The system can typically be deployed from case to camera in around 30 seconds.

The ZP15’s enclosed hood design also helps reduce glare and stray light, improving readability in brighter shooting conditions without relying on ultra-high-brightness displays.

Modern connectivity and simplified power

The ZP15 has been designed around modern production workflows, with USB-C connectivity playing a central role.

USB-C video input with USB Power Delivery allows a single cable to provide both video signal and monitor power simultaneously, significantly reducing cable clutter during location work.

The teleprompter also operates on standard 5V USB power, allowing it to run from USB power banks, camera accessory outputs, or standard USB chargers without requiring mains power.

In addition to USB-C connectivity, the ZP15 also includes Mini HDMI input for compatibility with a wide range of laptops, tablets, smartphones, and cameras.

More than a teleprompter

While designed primarily for prompting, the ZP15 can also function as a general-purpose production display.

Users can mirror or extend their desktop to display presentations, remote interview platforms, confidence monitoring feeds, producer notes, timers, or reference video content.

This flexibility makes the ZP15 suitable for applications including:

Professional mounting and portability

The ZP15 includes a built-in height-adjustable 15 mm rail mount for integration with standard camera support systems, alongside a 3/8-inch threaded mounting point for attachment to grip equipment and light stands.

Each unit ships with a protective hard case featuring precision-cut high-density foam for transport and storage.

Manufactured from carbon fibre-infused polymer, the ZP15 is designed to balance lightweight portability with the durability required for professional production environments.

ZeeCue software included

Every ZeePrompt ZP15 includes ZeeCue prompting software for Mac and PC with no ongoing subscription fees required.

The software provides plug-and-play prompting functionality designed specifically for production workflows.

Availability and Pricing

Limited stock of the ZeePrompt ZP15 is available in mid-June from PrimeLight Design and major resellers by the end of June.
